At 16:30, November 15, 2006 Magti hold a meeting with mass-media upon the law on "Prohibition of Using Mobile While Driving", followed by presentation of a trailer.

Magti aims at making a mobile handset the guarantor of a customer's security, always, wherever he is; this is often hardly ever possible due to the habit of some of the drivers to use their mobile while driving. They never realize they jeopardize their own and other peoples health and lives.
"We wish our service to bring our customers purely well-being. We are glad to take this opportunity and make our contribution in informing our subscribers, for them to avoid traffic accidents and traumas. For this purpose we have made a TV trailer and we continuously desrtibute leaflets. We believe it our duty to, make the rules of using a mobile publicly available", said David Lee, General Director of MagtiCom.
"In many countries including Georgia, using mobile while driving is prosecuted. This prohibition has serious grounds: a mobile speaking driver cannot concentrate on traffic, thus his reactions are slower. The law on "Prohibition of Using Mobile While Driving" takes effect from April 28, 2006, though violations are still quite often. One of the reasons of this may be the poor level of public awareness. That’s why we fully support Magti's initiative of making a TV trailer to make the public realize the outcomes of the possible violation of the law", said Goga Grigalashvili, Chief of Department of  Patrol Force for the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

- Never use your mobile while driving, remember, it is dangerous! 
- Postpone the conversation, unless it is vital.
- If you have to make a call, first stop the vehicle.
- Even while using Hands-free or Blutooth technologies your attention draws away, that’s why you must stop the car first.
- Do not start dialing a number while driving!
- Do not send SMS while driving, your glance must be focused on the road and control it!
- Do not use mobile internet or any of other services while driving. 
- Do not store information, do not save numbers - your hands must steer the wheel! Even slightly drawing your attention away from the way may be extremely dangerous - a vehicle moving at 50km/h speed makes 14 meters per second!

Do not break the law, your mobile phone always must be the guarantor of your calmness and safety!
